Sincere condolences to all of Anne’s family & friends. I knew Anne in AIB Adelaide Rd. where we had many chats mostly about hurling & her beloved Deise. She clocked up a lot of miles supporting, fundraising & going to endless matches but I was always in awe of her for driving home every weekend & especially giving young players lifts back to Dublin, often late on Sunday night & then straight back into work on Monday morning for a busy week ahead.
Anne truly deserves to Rest in Peace.

Deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Ann's passing . A woman whom I had the pleasure and honour to have dealt with. She gave outstanding service to all GAA teams in the Deise , Indeed I saw first hand the tireless work and undying commitment she had to ensuring all teams but particularly the underage teams and development squads were adequately funded for. Our sincere sympathies to Tom, Helen, Olivia, Christine, Vincent and extended families on your sad loss of the passing of Anne RIP. We hope the many happy memories you all have of Anne will help ease the pain of loss at her passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time. We got to know Anne through meeting her at Waterford games many years ago and she became a great friend of ours. Such a lovely, kind and thoughtful lady. We have many happy memories of Anne-the great days following the Déise and celebrating the wonderful wins, the phone calls, match analysis and the Christmas cards! Anne was the greatest Déise supporter we ever knew who travelled the length and breadth of the country following her beloved Déise-be it hurling, football, camogie or ladies football Anne would be there! Anne was the ultimate team supporter with a positive attitude and total loyalty to her team and county in both the good times and not so good. In her quiet, humble and effective way Anne worked behind the scenes with no fuss with fundraising and supporting the teams however she could. We will miss Anne and going to Waterford games will never be the same. We know that Anne will be looking down from above and supporting the Déise as she always did. Farewell Anne and may your gentle soul Rest-in-Peace.

We are so very sorry to hear of Anne’s passing. Her photo is how we always knew her, a smile and decked out in some shade of blue and white and probably on her way to a match or training or a Deise fundraiser. We will miss her Christmas card this year so neatly written describing the highs and lows of Waterford GAA during the year and wishing Fermanagh well for the next year.
Tom, Helen, Olivia, Vinny, Christine & all Anne’s grand nieces and nephews whom she was so proud of, we think of you at this sad time. We can be sure Anne has a good seat now and isn’t worrying about parking in Thurles or getting to a match on time. Rest in peace Anne, it was a pleasure to have known you. xx

When it came to Waterford GAA, Anne represented all that was great. She was the constant that kept giving. Whether it was raising thousands of euros to support players or standing on the sideline of a Bord na nOg game on a wet and windy day, both were of equal importance. She was a true Waterford Gael. Thank you Anne for showing us what true commitment can look like. Rest in Peace. Sincere sympathy to Tom, Helen, Olivia, Christine and Vincent.
