I am so saddened to hear of Anne's passing. Anne was gifted in her understanding of and ways with children and also a great confidante for staff. She was so straight and honest , no hidden agendas ever and only Anne could say certain things in her witty way straight out. Anne's love for her colleagues and friends was unconditional. I went on to mind two children and I'd use what i called "the Anne Spillane method" when trying to reason things out with them and I'd laugh to myself and think of Anne's wit and how it worked so well. The children in Glenfields adored Anne. She studied their individual personalities and got to know them inside out and knew what made them tick and how to respond to each one of them! Thinking of ye Donie, Karen, John, David, partners and her beloved Hannah and Carly . May yere amazing memories and time well spent keep ye strong xxxx
