On behalf of my mother Brid , Brid was unable to attend Anne s requiem mass today in person , but fondly spoke of their Rosmini days , and the special friendship Anne , Brid and Bride shared . As I left Donnycarney for Corpus Christi Church in Drumcondra this morning , I was reminded of a phone call from Anne to my mother barely two weeks ago , Brid can you believe we are both in the same state at the same time , mam laughed and Anne Laughed . That is the Anne that is gone home to Jesus . A rock for everyone around her . I am so sorry for your loss , but her Faith and testimony is a legacy and and example for all of us . I have many wonderful memories of growing up next door to the Stack family. As a child, I played in their house and often enjoyed a drink from the soda stream in Anne's kitchen. Over the years, I often met Anne usually in her beautiful front garden. She always had time for a chat and was happy to share her extensive gardening knowledge and tips. So friendly, you couldn't but enjoy her company. Clare Road has lost a true Lady. RIP Anne.

My deepest sympathy to Rory , Liam and families. Your precious mother. Anne, and I lived next door to each other for over 50 years and we loved discussing gardening and world affairs. We never had a cross word just like her late husband, Liam who gave me many tips about central heating.
Her family lived in Chapelisod and loved athletics just like me and I may have met one of her brothers in races as I ran with Clonliffe Harriers while he was a member of a rival club

May she plant many exotic flowers in her Heavenly Mansion.

I recall her smile and her good humour with affection. She was always kind, patient and a generous member of the Áras team. May she rest in peace.

Anne was one of our matriarchs, a woman who loved her family and friends fiercely and with great loyalty. Full of wonderful adventure, curiosity and pride in her country. She gave freely to those around her and was a cherished friend to my mum, Margaret. We will all miss her greatly. Our sincere condolences to you Rory, Liam and families on your great loss.

We are so sad to hear of dear Anne’s death. She was such a big part of our lives in Aras, a happy part, always full of laughter and joy and kindness no matter what.
