Anne was an especially dear and lifelong friend to some members of staff in this college and was an inspiring City of Dublin ETB colleague to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with Anne’s family, many friends, and colleagues. May she Rest in Peace.

So sorry to hear of Anne's passing and condolences to her family and friends. I only met her once when we visited the college with my daughter before she joined a course there but Anne was such a warm, funny, encouraging, vivacious lady. She mentioned her dear boys and showed us pics of them during the meeting. She really stood out and I can only imagine the sense of loss anyone who knew her must feel. X

My sincere condolences to Anne's family and all who love her. I knew Anne from Colaiste Ide. She was very helpful during my teacher training days and beyond. I remember calling Anne (7/09/2021) seeking advice and support for my son's college choice, full of life and vibrance, she did this wholeheartedly. Her willingness to help is second to none. We will keep her family in our thoughts and prayers and will surely miss the joy and laughter she brings into all that she does.

I am so sad to hear that Anne has gone so suddenly and so soon. She was a vibrant woman, who lived kindly generously and with such energy. Whenever I think of Anne, I think of her with laughter, admiration and a deep gratitude for having known her. She was such an honest person who never shied away from adventure. She loved her family intensely and was deeply loyal. My deepest sympathy to her two boys and her siblings who I know will miss her deeply. She will be around in your memories always.

I was saddened to hear of her passing, I was a pass student of consistent ide and had the pleasure of going to Malta with this woman (mama Anne as we called her) she was a gem, A strong, fun, caring, loving, energetic and adventurous kind of woman and she will always live fondly in my memories and my heart xxx

Condolences to all of Annes family. Anne was an incredible presence in Colaiste Ide, a dynamic force forever organising events, trips, new courses, apparel, facilities for the students in an ongoing torrent of ideas. She is totally irreplaceable and we will miss her deeply. Personally she was very compassionate and interested in people, I would always send students to her guidance with two pieces of advice, "Listen carefully to whatever she says, because she genuinely knows it all and she's from New Zealand not Australia, don't get that one wrong."

No words seem big enough or strong enough to measure or convey Anne's loss. She was some woman for one woman. A legend in her own time. So many lives added to and enhanced by her magic. Her two amazing sons Sean and Cormac, John, siblings, unofficially adopted children, nieces, nephews, huge amount of friends and realitives, all of the aforementioned will know her loss deeply. I personally will truly miss her but I am so grateful that I got to spend so many happy times with her. Thanks for the memories Anne. RIP.

I am so sorry to hear that Anne has passed away.
I remember going up to Colaiste Ide lost and anxious as I didn’t get the points I wanted in my leaving cert and was about to give up my dream of becoming a physiotherapist. From Anne’s encouragement, motivation and inspiration I am now in the middle of pursing my career in physiotherapy.
