My deepest sympathies to Wayne and all of Anneke’s family. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Anneke's untimely death. It was a pleasure to have met and worked with her, nothing but fond memories. May she rest in peace.

Dear Wayne and Tony,
Having missed seeing Tony in the park for a number of days I became anxious that something may have happened and just now I went into RIP hoping that I would see nothing there. The first name I saw was Anneka. I am in shock, upset and shed some tears.
May she rest in peace! It's very clear Wayne that God wanted her with Himself tho' I was praying for a miracle. I pray God to console you all in your great grief knowing that He is there beside you every moment through this very sad and difficult time.
I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and I will have Mass offered for the repose of her gentle soul . I know that I will meet up with you again Tony in the Park when you feel able to be out and about ! Love and prayers, Phyllis

Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss. I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Anneke. She was a dear friend in High school and will be missed.

Anneke was so so much to so many people. I knew her as a scientist and as a friend. She was kind, strong, funny, smart and one coolest people I have ever met. You have always been part of my life, since the early age of 5. We laughed together, we played together, we went to school together, we did sports together, we went camping, our first school "sokkie", our first boyfriends, our High School days, our University days, our oversea travels and ofcourse the best Potch-days ever.
