Her passion for supporting the students she worked with, her love of her family and of all animals always shone through. Annemarie, I had the privilege of working very closely with you through some of the most transformative years of my life: my early teenage years and transitioning from primary school to secondary school. Those times were not always easy for me and sometimes they were damn hard, but you never gave up on me. Instead, you supported me and loved me throughout it all, and I want to thank you for all of that love and support through all those highs and lows. Soon after life took me on to my next adventure, you got very sick. You were in an awful lot of pain for so long but now you are at peace, and I would like to think that you and Frances are having a good catch up wherever you may now be.

Thank you for everything, and I hope I have made you proud.

I had the pleasure of knowing Annemarie for a number of years through our work together in Dara, where she was a valued member of our team. Annemarie was very caring and gentle and was very well thought of by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues and the people she supported so well.
