Annette CORRIGAN

Sincere condolences on the death of Ms. Corrigan, a real lady she never taught me but caught me many a time for no indoor shoes! Fond memories.

So Sorry to hear of Miss Corrigans passing. She taught my sister's and myself in St Joseph's Convent of Mercy Athboy. She gave me a love of Camogie and often gave up her lunch break to coach us and take us to play matches at weekends back in the seventies. May she Rest In Peace.

Our deepest sympathy go out to the Corrigan family at this time.We both have lovely memories of our years with Miss Corrigan, she was a remarkable teacher and had a very keen interest in our sporting activities...May she Rest In Peace

Heartfelt sympathy to the sister and extended family of the late Miss Corrigan Her very first teaching position was in St Joseph,s Secondary School Rochfortbridge,a fledgeling school back in 1955/56. I was one of the three students,from that school,who sat the Leaving Cert Exam in June 56,so I had the privilege of experiencing the sheer exurberance of her personality. May she enjoy theLight of Heaven with all those who have gone before us

Mary , my deepest sympathy to you and to your wider family on the death of your dear sister Annette. I got to know Annette from my visits to OLH and we had many good chats and a lot of laughter. She was an unassuming lady with a lovely personality. Despite my many attempts she seldom wanted to talk about her own career/sporting achievements and frequently diverted the chat to my own family. Due to Covid I hadn't seen her for some time but she has been in my thoughts.
I will remember Annette in my prayers. May she now rest in in peace.

Deepest sympathy Mary ,and family members. We worked together for 28 years in StJoseph’s Secondary School Athboy. Anette’s life was one of utter dedication to her students and the school in general. I have met many past pupils in Athboy since the news of her recent broke
and they are loud in there praise of the enormous contribution Annette made to their lives.

I had the pleasure of working with Annette for 2 years. She embodied dignity, respect, self control, strength, wisdom and elegance. I have never forgotten her and I am saddened to see her death notice. She made a lovely cup of tea when it was badly needed. She was a huge source of support to me and took me under her caring wings. I am sad to learn of the passing of Miss Corrigan, such a strength, consistent presence and positive influence in my years' at secondary school.
