Condolences to Emma, Liz and family. We always received a very kind and warm welcome from Annette when it came to our annual summer holidays in Greystones. May she rest in peace with John.
Dear Emma, Liz, Oisín, Conor, Carl - and all the family, I was very sad to read about Annette's passing. What a wonderful woman she was. I met her first, bringing Liz to school in St. Brigid's Primary School in Greystones. Annette was always such a positive, friendly person - the kind of person that you always felt the better for having met. She made a great contribution to the school's Parents Association, particularly in her role as chairperson. She was articulate and forward thinking and led the association with great diplomacy and grace. How lovely it was to meet Annette again many years later attending school events supporting her much loved grandchildren, Oisín and Conor. Though Annette had many interests and involvement in the community, one could always see family came first. You brought her so much joy. Her spirit will live on with you all.
To Liz, Emma, Carl, Oisín, Conor and Molly, my sincere condolences. Annette always made me feel cared for, asking about my week and sharing so many joyful moments together. Her kindness and laughter will always stay with me. Rest in peace, beautiful soul! I’ll never forget you! ❤️
Emma and Elizabeth, so sorry to learn of Annette's death. I will never forget her great sense of humour, the funny stories that she was so good at telling and how they would be followed by gales of laughter from us. But above all, I will always remember the hospitality that she and John would show us when we came to visit and how we were always made feel so welcome in your home.
