Thinking of Anne and Marie and of all Annette's kindness to me over the years (including countless trips to the swimming pool in the 1970s, in a crowded Ford Escort, with chips afterwards). To this day, Annette was the only person I have ever met who'd 'pop in' for a cup of tea and a chat after 11 pm, but every visut she made to St. Anne's brought a smile. May she rest in peace

I have very fond memories of her as a very kind, generous person who had a great sense of fun and good humour. There was always laughter and chocolate in abundance in her office.
Her legacy will live on through the charities she worked so tirelessly for. She organised so many fund raising events each year along with the help of the many wonderful volunteers and was always concerned about people in need. I hope that the many great memories that you have will be of comfort to you now and in the times ahead. Thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time

Annette spent her life giving and helping everyone she could. She loved her family and all the holidays she spent with them. She loved her trips around Ireland with Fr Sean every Summer and they would call to kept in contact with her extended family and keep us all up to date. She was great fun with a brilliant memory and loved to hear all about her cousins. We were all blessed to have Annette in our lives. Rest in Peace Annette

She had a heart of gold and did an amazing amount of work for the good of others through the Longford Hospice and Longford Social services. I especially remember how Annette took time to put a little special 'Thank you' note along with the receipt to the school children who sent in donations. it meant a lot. God reward you Annette for all your good work.

To the best mammy in law anyone could ask for. Kind, caring, full of life and divilment. I felt part of the family from the day we met. Annette was so selfless and considerate and always put others first. An amazing sense of humour and fun with a wonderful glint that give a hint of her mischievous personality. And she was always great at keeping you grounded - if you had notions they were met with an appropriate eye roll and a comment that brought you back to earth!

Blessed for having know Annette for so long, blessed for her wit and spirit to have been with her right to the end, blessed that so much of what was fun, special and beautiful about Annette lives on in her daughter and my amazing wife Anne Fleming, blessed that her spirt lives on in her other sister Marie. The world would be a better place if we could all be more Annette - we will all miss her so much
