We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Annie. I first got to know Annie and Liam in 1972 when I went to work in Monaghan PO and then when our children were born in 1978/9 along with Bernadette Hegarty and Maureen Murray she was a great support to Attracta. We all moved to Dublin after that, Annie and Liam to Malahide and ourselves to Portmarnock and we used meet regularly. Annie was one of the gentlest and kindest people you could meet with a beautiful smile. We remember her as an amazing mom to you, her children. It was our great privilege to have known both Annie and Liam and both are at peace now as they rest together. Annie RIP
