I am very sad to hear of Annie's passing. I have very fond memories of Annie when I took my first French lessons from her during my school days. She was always so lovely to be around and an excellent teacher and I still have a love of the language to this day. My sincere condolences to her family and may she rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear about the loss of Annie. She was such a special lady and a very dear friend of my Mum Úna who I know would miss her terribly if she was still with us. From their tennis, croquet, MS walks and trips to Donegal and beyond they had some amazing times together. Many people thought they were sisters or even twins! I feel like I have known Annie forever as she was such a constant presence in my Mum's life. Sending you my deepest condolences and thinking of you all at such a desperately sad time.
