I met Nancy when my mother Theresa became ill in Wichita Kansas in the United States. Nancy, whom I had never met and my Uncle Brendan which I had met before when I was five, came to stay at our home in Rose Hill, Kansas so they could be near my mother who at the time was a patient at Via Christie medical center. It was a new experience for my family and a welcomed one at that. My husband and two children were as excited as I was to have them in our home staying with us. It was an honor and a privledge that neither I, nor my family will ever forget. Nancy was delightful, funny and she gave me insight into that of my own mother. Upon departing to return home Nancy left me with two pictures that were oil paintings done by a local artist in Dundalk, I cherished those paintings then and I always will. Nancy seem to imply that the paintings were not much but that she wanted to show Neil and I how much she appreciated our hospitality. The fact that I have these paintings in my home here in Texas, here in the United States from my aunt Nancy was more than I could ever ask for. I will forever remember that gesture of kindness....Her Niece, Pamela Boyd Leverenz. Haslet Texas
