Tragic news to hear of Anto’s passing. He will be dearly missed. Thinking of him and his brother and the many times I met them both at gigs, theirs and others and the cups of tea at their house in Ringsend, having amazing chats about music. Farewell Anto May you rest in peace

Anto and Dave will be with us forever through the Wormholes

The very first moment I met Anto I immediately felt warm and happy. And I think that probably continued every time I met him after that. He was such an engaging and inspirational character. What he and Dave did (with the Wormholes and esb and more) was so important for so many of us in Dublin and beyond. In the words of a friend Julien, they were heroes who played fire music. Anto broke so much ground. But more than anything else he was so generous in attention, so welcoming and open, so friendly and uplifting. We are all so much the better for his having been here. May he be at peace.
