À true gentleman , whenever we met at the shows in England lots of things Border Terrier were discussed with plenty of wit & one liners .... but lots of common sense & kindness too .....he loved the little brown & blue dogs just the same as I do .... will miss our chats on the phone too ......, I shall do my best with your beautiful legacy blue girl Bronte ,( Bohamer York'ist Celeste ) & campaign her for you here on mainland UK .....

To Eoin, Julie and the rest of the Rock family. Anthony was and still is an amazing man, a wonderful and proud father with a constant grin on his face! I have many great memories in mind of both Anthony and Eoin. I always felt welcomed into the Rock family Eoin being a brother for life and Anthony always being and feeling like a second father to me. Again Anthony was a true man, a great man, and a fantastic father who truly left his mark on the earth! Rest in Peace Anthony Rock.

So sorry to hear the news. My brief encounter w/Anto via email was extraordinarily rewarding and helpful while searching for my next Border Terrier. We exchanged 4-5 emails in a short period of time and in EVERY encounter Anto responded quickly to my queries with thoughtful comments and detailed information. He certainly met all my expectations and then some about the BT community in Ireland. He was in every way a true gentleman; and his dedication to the breed was first and foremost in every response. I never had the pleasure of meeting Anto in person but I knew from the get-go that he was an special man, loved and cherished by friends-fourleggeds and twoleggeds alike. Thank you Anto for generously sharing your light with me.

So sad to learn of the real loss of Anto - such a lovely man. Ours was a Border Terrier connection & the joy that my Leo gives me every day, is down to Anto & Bohamer Blue Storm & mama Mia.

Deepest condolences to Anto's family on his very sad loss. Knew Anto from the dog show scene for many years and recently he was responsible for re-introducing me to the Border Terrier dog scene. He loved his Border Terriers and was a great ambassador for the breed and was a great sport and a gentleman.

It is so sad to hear of Anto's death. He was such a great person. The many times spent travelling to and from graveyards were opportunities to share dog stories and to put the world to rights. From the time I was in Malahide and his aunties at the back of the Church would say "You look after our Anto" to the years in Brackenstown and the friendship we shared. That cheeky smile and those last word comments will live for ever.
At times when people's lives were falling apart he brought calm. May he now enjoy the reward of his goodness to so many and may he again be surrounded by friends and the countless dogs that have gone before him. Anto rest is the tender peace of God.
