I've only just found out and to be honest am numb, Anthony was a work colleague for a number of years but more importantly was someone who I considered a friend and always had time for a chat and a laugh, even when work was grinding us down I could rely on Anthony to lighten the day and push us back up.

I had the pleasure of working and knowing Anthony (Anto) for nearly 20 years. Not only was he an exceptional talent but great fun to be around. There was never a bad word said about him. He would bring joy and calm to every room he entered. His family should be very proud of him and what he achieved in his life. The animation industry has lost one of the true gentlemen we had.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends in this tragic time. May he be at peace now in the big animation studio in the sky. We will all miss your big smile.

I met Anthony in the summer of 2000 when I first went to Guildford for an internship. Anthony and another Irish fellow, Gary, looked after me and made it an unforgettable time, filled with fun and laughter.
I came back in November 2001 to live there and Anthony, generous as always, let me stay in his room for a few weeks.
Unfortunately we lost touch a few years later.
I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Anthony's passing, and I will always remember our times together with great fondness.
