So saddened to hear this news. What incredible memories my family shared with him. From Dal gCais to Costello Irish Dancing School. Many a road we travelled with him, St Pauls N.S to Mungret GAA club, to Rathkeale, to Croagh to Galway to Costello/O'Brien...i cant remember was it Tina Turner or Whitney Houston he liked the best lol, or when he was driving along and jiggjng his fingers on the steering wheel to trad making up some dances along the way! Fab memories! I'd get letters and figure dances to learn in the post in the UK when he was pushing me to do my TCRG. A wonderful man. Huge part of our childhood. Will never forget him. I was very sorry to hear of Anthony’s death and I send my sincere condolences to Geraldine and Katherine and Anthony’s wider family. The news sent my memory reaching back more than sixty five years, to the Temperance Hall in Thomondgate where Anthony’s mother, Lord rest her, brought Geraldine, Katherine and Anthony to dancing classes. In the decades since,
our paths crossed fairly regularly and the bond of early family friendships endured.

Anthony judged the solo slip jig round at the. all Ireland’s, 2005/6 - he gave me first place. It is and always will be one of my happiest moments in life. Thank you Anthony. May you RIP.

To Geraldine, Catherine and our dear Conor; please accept our sympathies for your loss of Anthony. Through the U.S. (Chicago) Irish dancing community, we became very good friends with Anthony and Conor. We enjoyed the many visits with Anthony & Conor, as well as Anthony’s deep appreciation, love and respect for the tradition of Irish dancing.
Our friendship extended beyond Irish dancing and we value the times we spent together.

We are grateful for all the wonderful dancing memories Anthony provided us with. Many private practice sessions out the back of the house will be long remembered.

Anthony and Conor were also very supportive when Caitríona was sick in organizing feis fundraiser and this support won’t be forgotten.
