Anthony Hogan

My deepest sympathies to all the Hogan family & friends of Anthony. RIP. My earliest childhoid memory of Anthony is passing the house on Munchin Street & hearing live music from the front parlour. A great family. So sad to hear this news.

I remember the month of September back in 2003 when i first met you. But feels like ive known you a lifetime. You played at Samantha O'Doherty Deb's that night. You always echoed about the craic you had that night playing music until 5 in the morning. And the story you always told about Sam Benson falling out the window of the gazebo
It was brilliant night. It was then i fell in love with your music and that husky tone of your voice i never got tired listening to. Even when Evie was few months old the only music that would put her to sleep was you singing Noreen Bawn. For all those special occasions you played for us. Thank you.

Little did i know two weeks ago after doing the charity gig for Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention the last words you said to me were, "take care Ed"
Well today you will get a send off of all send off's

Thanks for all the memories that i will treasure for a lifetime.
