We are saddened to hear of Tony's passing. Sending our love, prayers and deepest condolences to the entire Butler family at this time. We are very grateful to have been able to view his beautiful memorial today. The sweet music was so fitting and reminiscent of Tony. Thank you for sharing such wonderful memories which allowed us a lovely glimpse into Tony's adventurous love of life. It gave us a feeling of connection with you all, even though there are so many miles between us. Please know that our hearts are truly with you all.

Condolences to the Butler Family on the Death of Tony, we had great times in the 1980s and 90s playing music and learnt a lot from Tony.He had a great store of Folk Songs , and was great company never a dull moment. Rest in Peace Tony.

He was a good friend to me as a colleague in Arnotts Wholesale - back in the 1960s.
He was very kind , bringing me to Ballad Sessions in The Elbow Inn among other venues.
