Helen I told you about that quote but I was so upset when Tony passed away that I forgot to post it on the RIP.IE website. It was said by legendary Celtic manager Willie Maley when goalie John Thomson was tragically killed in 1931 and it's inscribed on his headstone. It reads "THEY NEVER DIE WHO LIVE IN THE HEARTS OF THOSE THEY LEAVE BEHIND". That applies to Tony Mohan he is always alive in our hearts. Love you all to bits Tommie XXX
I find it hard to take in that my mate from 1977 is gone. The only argument we ever had in 42 years was you supporting Leeds . We let that go and when Celtic do the treble again this year myself and Amy and Stephen and Erin-Lily and Helen will drink a toast to you. Miss you and will never forget you my best friend.
I am so very sorry Helen, Amy & Erin-Lily for the loss of Anthony. What a beautiful soul & a legacy he left behind. My heart & prayers are with you all & I am so sorry I can't be with you now! R.I.P. Anthony, what a great, fun loving Uncle you were. Lorna & family xxxxxx
Dear Anthony, wish I could be there to say goodbye as you were always there for me, from the barbed wire injury when I was 3or 4 ,lifts to the Kylemore every morning and 2nd day visit every time I came home. You were the best uncle.
Rest in peace Tony.
