Anthony O’Leary

I worked with Anthony a number of times in EBS. I remember his encyclopaedic knowledge of mortgages, and his tireless willingness to help others, no matter what the topic. I remember his kindness, and the devastating blow that he endured when his daughter was killed in the car crash in Donegal. A master of understatement, but a reliable colleague and a true gentleman. I had the privilege to tutor Anthony in Project Management at one stage, and he was top of the class, winning a distinction in the final examinations. Many will miss him. He was one of a kind.

Sincere sympathies to Anthony’s family. I had the privilege of working with Anthony in EBS. He was a true gent. May he rest in peace.

Anthony was a gentleman and a great person to work with over the last 20 years in EBS, from Towsend St to Burlington Rd.

He always gave honour when honour was due and gave me great guidance over the years, my deepest condolences to Patty, Donal, Eibhlin, Elizabeth, and the extended family.

As promised, I’ll be taking one of the model airplanes Anthony got me out of the attic and will now go on display.
