Deeply saddened to hear off the passing of our dear friend Anto. Condolences to Mairéad, Mary and all who knew him. From all your friends at The Brock Inn

Stunned to read the sad news about Anto especially as I was thinking about him earlier in the week and I haven't seen him or Mary since 2014. Sometimes as a barman something about a customer catches you for no apparent reason and they become your V.I.P. It doesn't happen in every pub but Anto was my V.I.P. when I worked behind the bar in The Botanic House.

People have a way of touching lives. Sid was a genuine operator a good guy.

So sad to hear hear of Anthony s sudden passing. We go back a long way! He was 3 when I babysat for him. Since then we’ve remained friends. Always enjoyed his company. Such a gentle soul. Saddened to hear of Anto's sudden passing. So many lovely memories in years gone by of Sunday mornings in Kavanagh's with Anto and his dad along with my own dad (Dick Wilson) and all the regulars. In more recent times always a pleasure to run into Anto and his Ma of a Sunday night. He was a very special person. Our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Flynn and to Mary and extended family and friends. I didn't know Sid well at all, and haven't seen him in 30 years, and some. But the ripples through the Metal community led me here. I remember KillerWatt though, and the EP. Nice to see here that he was obviously a well and widely liked fella. R.I.P.
