Anthony (Tony) Dell

Dearest Dad,

Although the last few weeks have been so sad and filled with the trauma of illness and uncertainty, we choose to focus on the many happy years that came before... you lived a full life Dad, what a blessing.

Thank you for being a wonderful dad and grandpa who always put family first. Your many sacrifices did not go unnoticed and we will try our best to recollect and share your interesting life stories often.

We are thankful that both you and mom enjoyed your brief retirement in Ireland, although so far away. We know that you had a beautiful Irish community or "family" who embraced you and loved you.

While we are sad and will always miss you this side of heaven, we know that you are in the presence of your precious Saviour, fully restored and celebrating with Mom, Jenni, Mischa and many other loved ones gone before.

With lots of love ... always... till we meet again.

Was very sad to hear of Tony's death, he was a wonderful man and will be missed. I will always remember the kindness and generosity of both he and Ruth. Praying for you all.

To the Dell family I’m so sorry to hear about Tony. Tony and Ruth baby sat me and my sister. We lived opposite in Rhodesia.I met your parents a few years ago. Told me so many stories. Tony and I chatted regularly. He will be missed. Was so proud of his family. He is with Ruth and your sister now. Hold onto the memories. They are always with you. Thinking of you all. X

So sorry to read this sad news. Condolences to all the family on the passing of Tony. I met him while driving him on his many trips to Sligo hospital. Enjoyed his great life stories, his wit and his positive attitude always. May he rest peacefully.

Tony, your dad and grandad, was a good friend. Back when we all lived in South he would come and see us on the plot and we could talk through all the problems we had. He always saw a way out of every situation.
We had a really great time when he came with Ruth and Jenni to visit us here in Holland and we had hoped to see him again. Sadly that was not to be.
But we know that we will meet him again and Mischa and Ruth and Jenni because we do not sorrow as those without hope! Someday there will be that glad reunion where we will able to praise our Lord and Saviour in the ages to come!
May this be your comfort at this time Bryony and Bruce, along with your dear ones.

Tony and Ruth were very dear friends since Newcastle (South Africa) days. I often babysat Bryony for them. We treasure many lovely memories of them both, but lately of Tony. I will see them both in Heaven one day soon!
