We are saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. He was always very welcoming at the club and we often enjoyed chats with him during tournaments.

I was so saddened to hear of Tony's death. I met Tony first when we both served on the Munster Branch of Tennis Ireland. He was such a nice person but more than that a really sincere and trustworthy man. In the years after he made us feel so welcome in Limerick Lawn everytime we went there. I will forever remember him smiling and with a twinkle of mischief in his eyes.
My sincerest sympathy to Deirdre and Tony's wider family on your very sad loss. May he rest in peace.

Our sincere condolences to Dee and the extended O'Donoghue family. Fond memories of Tony in Limerick Lawn and Carrigaline Tennis Clubs. Working together with Munster Branch and us both in trucks on that long road to Dublin. Remembering with joy, his humor, whit and good nature. RIP Tony, goodbye our old friend.

Sincere condolences to Dee and all the family on Tony’s passing. His good humour made Limerick lawn a club that we loved as kids. The people make the club and Tony was one of those good people. Deepest condolences to the O'Donoghue family....sorry that I could not make it to the funeral....so many happy memories from our days in Granville FC and Aisling FC....Tony had a huge positive influence and impact on myself and my team-mates when we were between 15-18 years old...an absolute gentleman and no doubt will be greatly missed by his family and huge circle of friends....Seamie Mc Dermott

My deepest sympathies to the o donoghue family on tonys passing .as a teenager starting work in regional hospital 25 years ago or more around that time i used meet tony driving the big lorry some times taking away skips or clinical waste so long ago now but i remember as young man in my first fulltime job he was very friendly an helpful to me gave me some good advice when i had issues with my then bosses how to handle things at work i used love to meet him for chat when id bump into him he had a great way about him a true gentlemen rip Tony

Sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He worked for us back in the 90's. He was a really nice man and always helpful, used to meet him at LLTC as well, He had a great sense of humour and his charm was undeniably ace.
