Very saddened to hear of my uncle Anthony’s passing. I have so many fond memories over the past 30 years of his humour, his endless jokes (some I didn’t understand as a child, but laughed at anyway), and of course his incredible knowledge of all things construction and DIY — so much of which I learned from him. I’ll always remember his late-night calls to the house, sitting around with a cup of tea while he cracked jokes and kept everyone laughing. He was an absolute gentleman: always reliable, always helpful, and always there when needed.
