We were colleagues in An Post back in the 80's, he was a lovely man with a great sense of humour, also a fan of his acting and saw him in the Olympia in the finals of "tops of the town" with An Post & Hugh Leonard's "Dá". Rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to the Proudfoot family on the sad passing of Anthony. I had the pleasure of meeting Anthony at the Luttrellstown Castle Family Day 2 years ago, where we discussed his love of music and his time as a drummer in the band with my father Dermot O'Dowd RIP.
I have fond memories of Anthony over many years, a true gentleman. He's with the best of them now, Rest in Peace Anthony.

A gentleman whose company I enjoyed many times on stage with the Coolmine Drama Group and Coolmine Musical society. His interpretation of Hugh Leanord's DA was legendary and would grace any stage. He will be sorely missed, not only by his family and by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.
