Having grown up just across the street from the family I have very fond memories of Monty taking us down to Sandycove to swim or letting us borrow golf clubs to knock balls around in Pres field. Sincere condolences to Monty’s family and close friends on his recent passing. Monty was a fine golfer and a strong competitor. He was an outstanding player, mentor, great to play golf with, and a highly respected member. If you were in the woods, he used to say just get it back on the fairway, and go on from there. We will have fond memories of Tony, including that we heard him only a couple of months ago, when playing 9 holes with him, saying “huba huba”.
