My sympathies to all of the family. Nan was a lady with a big heart and a great sense of humour. She and my Mam, Doreen, had many happy games of Bridge over many years & there was a healthy rivalry over who might live the longest as they were a similar age - You won the prize Nan, may you rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear about Nan’s passing . A lovely lady who was a very dear friend of our family .
I have lovely memories of visiting the Heijenga greenhouses with my parents and the chat with John and the lovely Mrs Heijenga, Nan. May she rest in peace.
I am very sorry to hear of the recent death of Mrs. Heijenga and to learn now also of the death of her daughter, Maria.

Mrs. Heijenga was a beautiful lady and lovely person. When we were young, my late mother used to meet her on the Drogheda bus from time to time and always enjoyed a chat with her.

Maria was in my class in Termonfeckin NS. She was a lovely gentle girl, like her mother in personality.

They are both in Heaven now, ar dheis Dé, on the right hand of God, with the lovely Mr. Heijenga and Mark.

My sincere sympathy to all members of the family.

RIP. Mrs Heijenga's passing after such a long life brings me right back to our school days in Termonfeckin, when the Heijengas and the Ferans all knew each other. Condolences to our old friends.
