I met him when I returned to work for CCC in the late ninties, when Aodan was a most enthusiastic and diligent Oifigeach na Gaeilge. He was always very willing and able to help with admin problems as Gaeilge. May the many happy memories you hold of your time together be a source of consolation to you at this sad time. I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Aodán through the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir. Not only was he one of the first members to join the choir, he was also one of the very first Supporters Club members and very proud of it!

As a fellow choir member I had the pleasure of sharing many a car journey to Charleville and Limerick in his company. He was an absolute gentleman and one of the best conversationalists I've met. I was so sad to hear of Aodáns passing. He was a gentleman. I have such fond memories of him in cape growing up. Always ended Amhrán na bhfiann at the céilís with "go raibh míle maith agaibh and now Slán abhaile"! Ní bhfeidh a leithéid arís ann.
