So saddened to learn of the passing of dear Aoife..... most definitely one in a million. I had the pleasure of meeting Aoife way back in the early 1990s. A truly remarkable individual.... a go getter. On my visits to Athlone I’d call to the shop & have the few chats..... she always made me laugh. Rest In Peace dear friend, I’ll cherish the memories.

I was so sorry to hear about Aoife. She was a very kind person and my lasting memories are of meeting Nessa and herself a number of times out shopping with Nessa describing enthusiastically all the planting she was doing for her in her garden and the many ways she was helping her.
