I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Aoife. I met Aoife during my year abroad at Maynooth University and becoming friends with Aoife was the best part of that experience. I will be forever grateful that our friendship continued after I left Ireland and for the memories that we made together. Aoife was kind, funny and one of the most caring people I have ever met and I will miss her dearly.

On behalf of the staff and students and parents of Kylemore Music Centre, I want to offer my sincere sympathies to Mona, Fergus and Aisling on your loss of Aoife. I was proud to have Aoife as part of the Kylemore family where she served as a deputy teacher for the last two and a half years. This type of teaching requires initiative, enthusiasm, versatility and flexibility, qualities that Aoife had in abundance. Aoife was considered an equal amongst her colleagues and was held in high esteem by the students and their parents whose lives she touched . Aoife took to her teaching role with passion and professionalism. Aoife's reliability enabled her to support other colleagues in times of need by ensuring continuity of learning for their students, always smiling and always prepared. We miss Aoife terribly, she was a central part of our team in Kylemore. May she rest in peace.

Amongst many cherished memories of Aoife, one of a family celebration in The Merrion, guests are walking in the manicured gardens before the meal next. Aoife’s smiling face through the tall grasses and a cheerful shout,
"Are you coming to join in the fun? Come on." As she led her troops away, we can still hear the laughter and merriment of that day.

Meals here in Derryshane winding Aoife and Aisling up. "I think we’re all tired of the homemade lasagna and Marian’s apple pie, so it’s tripe today!" The look on their faces was priceless. Two darlings. Rest in peace Aoife.

Rest in peace our darling Aoife. We are devastated. She was the sweetest girl. We miss her so much already, the world is truly not the same without her. Little Rory was immediately drawn to her beautiful, infectious smile and he was spoilt by her with so many gifts since he was born. We would always be so excited to see each other to tell each other our news. The memories I have of babysitting, playing Sylvanian families, listening to her music practice, tasting her delicious home economics baking and rushing excitedly to the door to welcome us in, are even more precious now. She was like a little sister to me growing up, and Marcel became just as fond of her when he met her 15 years ago. Aoife welcomed him into the family and they just clicked. We were always so proud of her, of her talents and of her kind nature. Our thoughts are with you day and night Mona, Fergus and Aisling. All our love.

Aoife was the kindest, most compassionate, warmest soul. I met her while studying at RIAM and was so lucky to have a close friendship with her filled with joy and laughter. Aoife had an infectious smile and filled any room she was in with happines and positivity. She was such a great friend and always had time to listen and give advice. I met her a few weeks ago and as always we had a night of fun and laughter. She was such a genuinely warm, kind and welcoming person. I am shocked and saddened to learn of her untimely passing. I will miss her friendship dearly. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your darling Aoife.

I am heartbroken by the loss of Aoife. We met in Maynooth's Choral Society. I attended every practice session knowing she would have already saved me the seat beside her, always with the biggest smile on her face as we would immediately update each other on the events of the past week. She was incredibly kind and welcoming to everyone around her and so full of life. She wanted to teach me all about Rugby and the SixNations, we made plans to follow the games, to go out after, for her to show me all her favourite spots in Dublin. I was looking forward to all of this as well as to graduating and singing together at the March concert. My last memory of her is from a recent night out. I can see her laughing and dancing in my mind's eye. I will never forget Aoife, her warm and loving nature and her truly infectious smile. She will be dearly missed. There are no words. I wish her family the strength to shoulder this most devastating loss.

To Mona, Fergus and Ashling, I am so sorry to hear the very sad news about Aoife, I have fond memories of Ashling and Aoife in Kidzone trying on clothes, always the best behaved and kindest girls, thinking of you all at this most difficult time.

Aisling, my sincere condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your sister. You are all in my thoughts at this terribly sad time.

Words cannot describe the pain I feel for Mona, her daughter and her husband. Aoife was always so kind to me, as well as everyone in the orchestra. My last memory of her was two weeks prior to her passing. She brought me a cup of water when I was feeling sick. As all those grieving already know, she was and will always be remembered as a talented, kind and considerate person. All of us in the orchestra will miss her. Her seat beside us will never be filled. We all miss you Aoife, rest in peace.
