Only a few weeks ago I heard that Aoife had passed away. I heard the news from my Friend Eileen. It was a terrible shock. I am a former spanish student of Aoife's aswell. She was a fantastic teacher. I learned a lot from her and we had great times with her. She was so bubbly and warm, always with a smile. I too have great memories of when she visited us in Madrid. I am heartbroken that she has gone. She will be greatly missed
I was just in the Ilac Library today where one one of Aoife's colleagues told me the sad news, I met Aoife in the library early last year. (I am a former spanish student ) from Ballyfermot Senior College, she was a fantastic person, wonderful mentor and great teacher and I have fond memories from our work experience trip in Madrid Spain in 2000- R.I.P. Aoife
