Armelle Goulet-Conway

Sincere sympathy to the Conway family on the passing of Armelle. My father, the late Paddy Dwan Snr was a good friend of Don during their early years in Aer Lingus and would have known Armelle. Don was also Godfather to one of my sisters.
May Armelle rest in peace.

My dearest sympathies to Erig,the extended family and all those who had the good fortune to have known Armelle.She was a lovely,kind and gentle lady.

I am forever grateful for her generosity and passing on information and material about her father Yann Renard Goulet on whom I wrote my master's thesis.

For many years, Armelle was a dear neighbour of ours. We have many fond memories of time spent in her company. She was full of life and fun.
She renovated her cottage in a most beautiful way and was an inspirational gardener. She will be sorely missed.

I feel very lucky to have met Armelle just a few years ago when we both started as garden volunteers in Wicklow Hospice - she made the workday a joyous event. That was a beautiful celebration of her life today and so glad that I could attend it online. She was lucky to have such a lovely and loving family, may her memory keep you all going.

Eriq, Ronan & family, my deepest sympathies on the death of your lovely mother, Armelle. She was a wonderful neighbour. I have such fond memories of spending time with Armelle, especially our trips to the Horse Show.

I was very sorry to hear that Armelle had passed away. She was a lovly lady Armelle & Thea were neighbours they called up to see the animals with great intrested on the farm around the corner.
Armelle was a great volunteer for the Wicklow Hospice she would go to sell plants at Jack whites both herself and Thea and she / Thea also would go on a weekend morning to attend to the plants in the garden at the Hospice in Wicklow. Armelle will be sadly missed in the area and surrounds for her out going kindness to everyone.I Rember one year we went to pick sunflowers for a charity and we asked Armelle to come but she was involved in another charity event and could not come so we brought her back a bunch of sunflowers which made her day as we had though of her.

I met Armelle-Arzel for the first time in April thanks to Joan Mulvihill. I was struck by her liveliness, her wit, her humour.
Even if she lived most of her time in Ireland, she was a true Breton lady deeply linked to her motherland with vivid memories of her mother and of her father, Yann.

So sorry to learn of Armelle's passing and I extend my deepest sympathy to her family. I got to know her through our set dancing nights in Aughrim. She made a lasting impression both on the dance floor and off. When Covid put paid to our dancing she became part of a little group who came together in The Woodenbridge Hotel every so often. We will always remember her for her good humour, her smile and stories. Rest in peace Armelle.

Dearest Armelle was one of our first volunteers, working tirelessly to create the magical hospice gardens we have today. How fitting that she enjoyed them so much in her final weeks, even supervising the work from her patio! Kind, energetic, bold, a wonderful friend. We will always hold her in our hearts.
