So sorry to hear of Arthurs passing, he was a gentleman and scholar.

Church when I was growing up. He used to ring the bell and
in the winter light the furnace to heat the church.

Isabel.My heartfelt and sincere condolences to you and each and every one of the extended Carter family. I am so sorry that I did not hear of Dad's passing until tonight Friday.Dad has left you now for his eternal home in Paradise united with the love of life and your darling Mam Hilary.He will also join great friends like John Littleton.Liam Simpson.Sean Flanagan.Peter Ronayne and others whom Dad helped in his long life well lived. It was great that you all had a lovely celebration for his 90 th.birthday and anybody did not deserve it more than Dad. I said when your beloved and beautiful Mam passed away that Dad did his level best in 1968 to teach me to become a Carpenter he definitely did not fail. I failed but with a certain amount of wit and a twinkle in his eye he advised me to try butchering which I did in Mitchelstown for 35 years.
Arthur you were a legend you always made us knuckle down and cut out the
Tom Foolery and it didn't do us any harm and helped us every step of the way
So sorry again Isabel Dad was some character and above all an absolute gentleman
Rest in eternal and everlasting peace good and faithful servant you finished the race you kept the faith.
