Those of us who knew Arthur Mullan will have memories of someone who portrayed the essence of decency in every aspect of human demeanour. A magnificent all round sportsman who excelled at rugby with Drogheda RFC as a player, Captain and later as President. A fearsome and skilled opponent on the rugby field and a pleasure to meet off the pitch. I had the privilege to experience both of these attributes and shared a friendship with Arthur who always met you with a warm smile and friendly greeting.
We tender our deepest sympathy to his beloved wife, Bernie, and his immediate and extended family.
