Arthur was an amazing man with an extraordinary life. We were fortunate in the National Rehabilitate Board (NRB) to have him as a colleague and a friend for many years. His door was always open to help us whenever we required it. After NRB, he remained in touch with many of us for the rest of his life at our regular gatherings in the Radisson Hotel. Arthur was a kind, friendly, funny and a good man. We will miss him greatly and offer our sympathy to all of his family on their great loss. May he rest in peace. Rossa

May he rest in peace.
My deepest sympathy to Arthur's family and friends. I have happy memories of him in the National Rehabilitation Board (NRB). His cheerfulness, wry sense of humour and wise insight made him hugely popular among his colleagues. He was a gentleman in both senses of the word -- a man of dignity and a man of gentleness. Rest in peace Arthur.

My sincere sympathy to Arthur's wife and family on your sad loss. I knew him many years ago in my student days in Hayden Stewart in Grafton St. He was always very helpful to a " raw recruit" May Arthur Rest In Peace.
I was so saddened to hear of Arthur’s passing, he was gentleman, I have fond memories of working with him in NRB, having the chats and the stories he’d tell, my sincere condolences to all his family at this sad time, may he rest in peace.
Deepest sympathy to all of Arthur's family on your great loss.
Days never mind hours passed quickly in the accounts dept with Arthur at the helm - no sooner had you entered in his office than he was regaling you with stories of his beloved family, his travel exploits and his take on life. The banter would inevitably turn to disability strategies and the like often ending up with the merits of "hows the boss".
He had time for everybody and a kind heart with just a smidgen of "devilment" thrown in.
Disability issues were always at the forefront of his mind and he ensured that you were aware of them too - such was the great advocate that he was.
It is with much sadness that l remember my NRB days with him - they were special - made brighter by his presence.
May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
Sincere condolences to Arthur’s family and friends at this sad time.

Dear Kath and all the O Daly family. Sending you each our sincerest condolences on the passing of Arthur. He was an incredibly resilient man, with a sharp mind, a stubborn streak, a love of good conversation and the odd bet. We will always be appreciative of the kindness he showed in helping our brother Peter get into the NRH. We are so sorry not to be there to celebrate his life with you at his funeral on Monday but we’re thinking of you.
