Arthur, I will miss the slagging and the insults and the fun and the hugs. It's not like you to leave the party early so I guess I shall miss you!

Sincere condolences to Miriam & the Slye family on the sad passing of Arthur. I first met Arthur while racing Enterprises on Broadmeadows in the 70s. Arthur was always a very relaxed pleasant sailor. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear (belatedly) of Arthur’s death. We were neighbours in Mount Prospect Grove in Clontarf during the 50s, 60s and 70s and I came across Arthur again in later years sailing in Malahide. Miriam and family, my most sincere sympathy on Arthur’s passing.

He will be very much missed by everyone. I first met him at the then MSC Broadmeadows in 1975 when he persuaded me to join and we have been friends ever since.

I am sorry not to have been at his funeral yesterday but the grapevine failed for once and I learnt of his passing only today.

May he rest in peace.

I fondly remember Arthur's smiley face, witty remarks and perpetual good humour in the former Malahide Sailing Club. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.

He was always so kind and fun. I remember him dropping us children Miriam looked after to school, sometimes pretending it was a real taxi fare and giving us a receipt! Just one of many lovely childhood memories.
