To the extended Russell family, We have many happy memories of Arthur in the 70s & 80s on visits to Bertie O'Reilly's in Ballintemple, when he would call in to 'keep an eye' on us and bring us up to date with the latest exploits of his beloved Cork while satisfying his curiosity on innumerable topics of interest to him. Needless to say, mention of Kilkenny, Tipperary, Kerry or Dublin was met with an unrestrained derision reserved for people who didn't realise one of the great truths of Irish sport - that The Rebels were and always would be No.1. Arthur's life on earth was full of goodness, joy & fun which we were privileged to share in. We will always remember him with that big smile which, judging by his photograph, never faded. Cork's loss is surely Heaven's gain. RIP.

Thinking of all of Arthur's family and friends and all the staff who worked with him during this time. Arthur was such a great character. A lovely friendly person all those years back, the condolences show that he kept that pleasant outlook all through life and was popular with everybody around him.
