Just heard of Ashleigh's very untimely and sad passing. I remember the day Ashleigh joined CCCC. It was the first and only time I was asked to lead a cycle in the club. I trained with Ashleigh in the gym later. Ashleigh went on to be a great cyclist, as good as Richard I have to say. What is special to me, is that Ashleigh cycled more than 200kms on a cycle event in wicklow on one day. It was the inspiration for me to cycle the West Cork 200 K. For that, I will always have that achievement - because of Ashleigh and Richard. Two fantastic personalities and individuals.
