Atekha Osagie

These past 2 months has been super hard. It still doesn’t make sense to refer to you in past tense. You’ve left a huge void and gap in the hearts of those who truly cared for you. Atekha you were the definition of amazing. Calm, forgiving, empathetic and truly caring to everyone you came across even to the undeserving.

I am grateful to God to have known you these past 15 years. You were a true friend & the big brother that I never had. Your death is still a complete shock to us all but I pray for the grace and fortitude to bear this huge loss for your family and those who truly cared for you. We were all privileged to know you.

May God continue to rest your soul and reward you for all your selfless acts and good deeds.

I’m sorry Atekha. Your life and plans were robbed. Your beloved nieces and nephews had the best uncle in the world- you showed them immense love that we watched from afar. Rest easy my friend, l regret as you told me several times that l should learn to create time for my good friends, including yourself but l kept being busy-however l am glad for all the years we had known each other and the best moments we shared together as friends. I wish l had said goodbye, l wish l had known in time that you were gone and attended your funeral Atekha. There is nothing sad like this Atekha, until we meet again and laugh together. I’m sure you are dining with the angels my kind, smily and chilled friend. You left a huge void-as we grow we categorise friends as families❤️. May your gentle and kind soul swiftly rest in peace. Atekha, my son, you were a dearly loved son to everyone in the family you belonged to. Throughout your lifetime, you were peaceful, responsible and hardworking, never found wanting in anything; you touched every life that came across your way – siblings, friends and others – until you departed this world. The vacuum you created in our hearts cannot be filled by anyone else except Jesus Christ. Rest in peace till we meet again to part no more.
