Sincere condolences from the O'Connor family church street , family of late John & Kit . Sad times for all who knew Aubrey . Rip
Legend... Aubrey was one of the greatest Tullamore guys I ever met - affable, intelligent, funny & with a great sense of odd humour. As teenage kids we used to hang out (sometimes drive Billy's Beetle) into the country side and wing it (& sometimes dig it out!). D used to say if she could paint a perfect oil painting it wouldn't be of us fooling about. We used to joke.... wrong place - wrong time. Billy used to to say... wrong lads in the wrong place! I am so proud to call Aubrey my friend because he was that - mad, bad, odd and different. Dave and I could not wait to get out (we did) and as a teenage kid I admired Aubrey for staying on in Tullamore (braver that I ever was to do that). It is with huge honour that I call Aubrey a friend and I hope that in his remembrance I honour his passing especially to Dave (my teenage karate expert) and ken - the guy who hated cheap Hondas. To Aubrey's family... he was legend - a very special mad friend of mine
who gave me the hope to escape the madness.
