I am sorry to learn of the death of my cousin Gerard. rip. Sincere sympathy to Mary and their daughters.

That’s exactly how we will always remember him. It’s typical of him to ask everyone to dress cheerful at the funeral..Gerry will be grately missed but will always be remembered. Mary we are so sorry to miss the funeral I had a very evasive heart procedure last Wednesday and I am confined to bed.

Mary and family - please accept sincere condolences on the death of Gerry. I was privileged to have been on the Committee of HGC and a Trustee during Gerry's term as Trustee. Though our views did not always coincide I greatly respected and valued his insights and perspectives and, most of all, I appreciated his constant sincerity. And who can forget his passionate renditions of "Jerusalem" on social occasions? May he now find everlasting peace in "the holy city, the new Jerusalem". RIP Gerry.

Jerry was a wonderful friend to me for over sixty years. I loved his wisdom and sense of humour. Mary and his home was such a generous one to visit . His spirt will live on through his amazing daughters Annemarie and Jane , and granddaughters Isabella and Noah . Mary , though sadden , will have such wonderful memories of such a long happy , marriage, full of travel and cultural visits to operas , and museums etc in so many global capitals . Jerry joined us at Christmas for many years when we sang carols for Simon in Grafton St .His tenor voices raised the bar for us amateurs. Thank you Jerry You bore your illness with such a sense of humour which made it easier for us The stars will sing to you forever and a day

I worked with Jerry in N.T.L, C.O.D, and Anglo Irish Bank, and what a wonderful boss he was . Everyone loved him. We enjoyed the Christmas parties when with his wonderful tenor voice he always sang “ Jerusalem “, and we jumped up on the tables and chairs and joined him . Such great memories He will be greatly missed by Mary, AnneMarie, Jane, Isabella and Noah , and all of us who knew and loved him Rest in peace Jerry
