Dear Amparo, Martha, Nacho and all the family, it is with great sadness that we learned of the death of lovely Augusto. We have such wonderful memories of our times together in Ballymoney sitting around a blazing garden fire pit on Summer evenings while the children played. Despite having little knowledge of the English lanuage we still managed to have great conversations.

Take comfort in knowing how much he loved you all and how much love you showed him in the way you cared each and every day for him.
He will never be far from you. May his gentle soul RIP.

I had the privilege to get to know Augusto since I was 8 years old. Martha is one of my very best friends. I used to have lunch at their house in Bogotá and he was always so sweet, listening to his favorite music (boleros), reading the news paper and talking about life and love… his life loving wife, Amparo, was his fuel. They loved each other so much and for me they will always be a big example of support and company.
Thank you Augustito for lighting your family and our lives for a hundred years.
