It is with great sadness that I heard of Austin's death. We worked together for many years and became good friends.
He was a quiet and dependable man and very well liked.
Hurling was his passion.
On a Monday, he would arrive into work singing the praises of either Ahane or Limerick, which ever of those teams happened to be playing over the weekend- whether they won or lost.
He will be a great loss, not only to his family but to his many friends.
My deepest condolences to his daughters Ann and Fiona, his son Fergus,his sister Ita and his Grandchildren on whom he doted.
