The earliest memory I have of Austin is as a 4 year old singing" You are my Sunshine my only Sunshine" for the Roes the blacksmith and his wife from Churchill- and running home to tell his Mother he got a penny for singing to the Roes. All his long life he and his talented children continued to bring sunshine and happiness to all our lives. He will be sadly missed. From your childhood and long life friend .Peter Rest in peace.

On a personal note Austin was my first boss in Magees Ardee many years ago. It was a pleasure to reconnect with him again in recent years in the Men's Shed. Rest in peace Austin.
