It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Austin. The work he did for athletics and in particular Boyne AC for over 30 years was remarkable. He touched so many lives, including us both. He was so generous with his time and always had a kind word.

Condolences to Catherine and the Tiernan family on the sad passing of Austin. His patience and encouragement to every child of all abilities at Boyne Ac was admirable and he was a great role model for coaching. He will be missed by all.

We are so saddened to hear of Austin’s passing. I got to know him over the years when he became a volunteer and helped us raise funds for our Alzheimer new centre . He was a gentleman and was always there to help right up till he got sick.our thoughts and prayers are with his family. May Austin RIP.
