Wonderful Avila Fitzgerald,
Originally from Mayo,
A lady with a lovely personality,
Who always had a happy glow;
She married marvelous Jim,
And moved to Kerry,
Where her sunny disposition,
Made people happy, jolly & merry.

To a place called Baile na Leacan,
A most wonderful place,
Whenever I think about it,
It brings joy to my face;
Situated on the hillside of Mount Brandon,
The most beautiful spot,
Overlooking Claghane Bay,
I think of it a lot.

It was there they raised Fergus, Helen & Ann,
A wonderful lad & two lovely girls,
Whose personalities shone,
Like the brightest pearls;
They had lovely grandchildren,
Tia, Fionna, Conor & Lin,
Meeting & knowing this lovely family,
Always filled me with joy, zest & vim.

They were wonderful neighbours,
Treating everyone as a friend & mate,
Everything about them was wonderful,
Everything about them was great,
She's now with Jim & the Divine,
Still radiating peace, joy & sunshine,
With lovely God, parents, family and friends,
Still making our life journies, nicer, easier and fine.

God bless her, Jim, children, grandchildren, family and friends, always in my prayers,
