So sad to hear of Ayden's passing, although we knew him through basketball, his personality and character off of the court is what stood out. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this hard time.

My deepest condolences to Neesha, Ahyan and family on Ayden’s sad and untimely passing. One could not meet a more kind and decent person than Ayden. He was always looking to help out others, had a great sense of humour and a positive attitude that lifted all around him. Everyone’s day was always brighter for an encounter with Ayden. To the Peters Family, know that Ayden was the greatest gift to all that experienced him. He was not only a friend, but a pillar. You raised a man of honour. A child of God. So selfless, loyal and loving that it was admirable. He was a protector and a safe sound board for many. There are not enough words of comfort that we can say, but God truly is closest to you now than he ever was. Umoya wena mawu xole like his name, Xola. He is now your greatest Angel and will watch over you at all times.

My friend, this is the hardest one to process and accept. Never in a million years did I ever think I would speak of you in the past tense. I am shattered and heartbroken. You protected and loved me loudly, even when you were so far away. You never missed an opportunity to remind me of how important I am and how much you cared and loved me. I am so proud of the man that you had become - looking at how you loved your Wife and Ayhan so much took good care of them. You were brilliant! You left a piece of yourself in everyone that encountered you. They do not make them like you no more my friend!

Neesha, I am truly deeply sorry. You and the kids are in our prayers and always will be.
