Bairbre LONERGAN

To Bairbre's family, I am so sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Bairbre. My condolences are with you all at this time. Bairbre was such a lovely lady who was always in great form and had a smile on her face when we were in college. May she rest in peace.

It was with sad regret i found out today about the passing of a fellow class mate whom i have known through DIT/IAVI honours class in Dublin. Bairbre was a lovely gentle person who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. May I offer my sincere condolences to the family and relatives at this sad time. May Bairbre rest in peace.

I studied with Bairbre at DIT for the past 4 years. I wish to pass on my condolences to Bairbre's family and friends following her sudden passing. It has come as a shock to all who had the privelege to know her during our time in DIT.

I was in college with Bairbre for the year and was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. May she rest in peace.

It is with profound sadness and shock that I learned yesterday of the untimely death of my D.I.T classmate Bairbre. She was one lovely person always had a welcoming smile together with an adorable infectious personality. My thoughts at this very sad time are with Bairbre's parents, family and extended family, hopefully you will find a little solace in the words of an unknown author.

STOOD BY YOUR BED

I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying, you found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea, you were thinking of the many times your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, your arms were getting sore. I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today, you tend it with such care. I want to reassure you, that I'm not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key. I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "it's me."
You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It's possible for me to be so near you every day.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew ... in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.
The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning
and say "goodnight, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out ... then come home to be with me.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you all at the untimely death of your daughter, Bairbre.Please know that our thoughts are with you at this very sad time.

Our heartfelt sympathies go to both the Lonergan and Tierney families at this sad time with the very sudden and sad loss of Bairbre. You are all in our thoughts and prayers and we are sorry we are unable to attend her funeral tomorrow as we are on holidays. With our sincere sympathies and God Bless you all.
