Dear Barbara, I have just had the privilege of watching your beautiful funeral service online. The last I saw you, we were in the uniform of Presentation Secondary School, the days of Tony Kerrigan's bus long behind us. You were always making people laugh and exuded kindness too. Glasses and frizzy hair, oozing warmth and jokes about yourself. Always genuine. Always yourself. I wish I had known you in later years but I'm quite sure you are in Heaven now, making the saints blush (say hello to my husband Niall who died from cancer a couple of months ago. He received his diagnosis around the time you received yours.) All my love xx

So saddened to hear of the passing of Barbra, she was my scout leader in the 125th old bawn. Barbra was one of the most bubbly carefree people i have ever met and i can still hear her laugh 35 years later. Deepest condolences to her daughter and her family. Thinking of you all.

I worked with Barbara many years ago in Jacob’s and just felt I had to write a condolence because although so many years have passed she’s someone that I would still often think of, she was one of those unforgettable people! She had the most wonderful caring personality, and there was always a lot of fun and laughs in the office with her around. Rest in peace Babs ❤️

Babs you will sadly be missed, no matter how sick you were you went on like it was just a cold. You gave no anger to anything and still remained the same for anyone to do that took a lot of bravery . I'm sure Christy is up there now with his arms wide open to great his loving daughter, ready to sit you down and watch the TV with you again. We will all miss you so much and I clearly regret not getting up to you , it's something everyone should do and not only when it's too late. I know you can hear me so I just wanted to say we love you and you'll never leave our lives. Take care cuz and may our love find you.
