Dear Ed and Ross,
My deepest condolences on the loss of beautiful Barbara, and thank you for such a beautiful service. I bawled my eyes out and laughed as she was so vividly portrayed in Kates eulogy, and thank you Derry for the beautiful insight into Barbara life on your street. As I left my house in Dingle right after the service a huge bright rainbow stretched across the sky, and I thought, ah, there she is…. indeed “she talks to rainbows’….. Shine on sweet Babs..

Dear Ed and Ross, I am absolutely gutted and shocked to hear of beautiful Barbara's passing. It feels like only a few weeks ago that we were all having a drink upstairs after your gig in Whelan's. It was a great night made all the more so by Barbara's humour, fun and energy. It's clear from all the heartfelt messages here that she was greatly loved by all who knew and met her. And Ross carries all his mum's qualities of kindness and love. Sending you both my love and deepest condolences at this painful time.

Ed,

I keep thinking of Barbara's smiling face as she cheered us on so many times at the Leeson Lounge. It's hard to find words to make any sense of the terrible pain and loss you and Ross must be feeling. In the Jewish tradition, I wish you and Ross long life and sincere condolences.
